*So water-full, so smooth, so flawless*

Does this phrase come to your mind whenever you thought of Korean Artist like Song Hye Gyo ? I did. Who doesn’t want to have a flawless skin like this? Especially girls! All girls want this flawless skin, am I right? Whenever come to skin care products, the most important thing that I concern about is that “is the product moisturizing enough?” To achieve Korean Flawless Make Up, skin care and make up prep is very important. While am still lost in searching way to achieve that flawless make up, Nuffnang and Laneige gave me a chance to learn. I am glad that am so lucky to be the top 10 bloggers that have been selected to join the K-Beauty Workshop at Amorepacific, Midvalley City last Saturday (8^th June).The workshop was hosted by GeraldineLoy, also the make-up artist of the day. She has taught us lots of make-up prep and tips to create a K-Beauty Make-Up that I would like to share with all of you today. I can’t be any luckier to get this chance.

So girls, let’s get back to the topic of the day. How to create a K-Beauty Look? Do you know what is the 4 keywords of Korean women’s K-beauty? They are: Flawless, Glow, With Light, Healthy. To achieve this, make up prep is very important.

 Here are the products we use to do our make-up prep that day:

From Left : White Plus Renew Skin Refiner, White Plus Renew Emulsion, White Plus Renew Original Essence, White Plus Renew Tone Up Corrector and Moisture Lip Balm.

*Laneige Skincare Routine*

There are 4 basic steps we can’t miss for make-up prep:

Now, pardon me to upload a bare face of mind with ZERO make-up *cry*

Step 1: Refiner (Purifying) – White Plus Renew Skin Refiner

Functions : White Plus Renew Skin Refiner that readies the skin by caring for dead cells, improving skin discoloration. It contains amino-acid peeling ingredients that can remove the makeup residues.

How to apply: Saturate a cotton pad with White Plus Renew Skin Refiner.

*This is the correct way to hold a cotton pad*

Then, swipe gently over your face. Applying this helps to refine your skin’s texture. Avoid the eye area because the skin is thin and sensitive.

You should apply starting from the T-area first, secondly nose then the cheek area and round the mouth. It should be wiping from inside to outside of the face area. 

Lastly, finish it by patting your face. It refreshes your skin and ensures the product is absorbed into your skin.

Step 2: Emulsion (Balancing) – White Plus Renew Emulsion

*I love this lots because it’s non-sticky.*

Function: Replenishes moisture to weary skin.

How to use : Take an appropriate amount about a 10 cents coin size. Dot accordingly at the T-area, cheek and mouth area. Then, wipe it using the step 1 method from inside to outside. *Avoid eye areas*. If there’s excessive, wipe is at your neck.*Don’t waste it.*

Step 3: Essence (Intensive Care)

This product can give you the most beautifully radiant skin: Removes Dark Spots, Evens Skin Tone and Dual Brightening Effect. The most attractive part of this product is, it has a ratio of 2:4:6.

It means 2 weeks for a flawless, brighter complexion; 4 free from harmful elements: Paraben, Animal Products, Artificial Pigments and Mineral Oil; 6 functions: Luster, Moisture, Brightness, Evens Skin Tone, Slows Melanin Rate and Reduces Dullness.

OMG !!! Tell me!!! How can you resist this? So, how to apply? Pump once or twice.

Then repeat the way you apply in step 2.

Step 4: Cream (Protection) – White Plus Renew Tone Up Corrector

Functions: Dual Functions of whitening and UV protection. It will brightens and protects your bare face even without make up!!! *wee!!! Don’t be afraid of bare face anymore*

How to use:

Take an appropriate amount like 10 cents coin size, then apply it over your face by repeating the step that I mentioned earlier.

So, you think this is the last step for make-up prep? Meh…. You forgot one more last step, I bet every girls will easily forgot about our lips !! Lips are very important too…girls…do you want a juicy kissable lips? So, start protecting your beautiful lips !!! You don’t want to own a 70-year-old lips when you are 20-year-old right? 

So, the last step: Moisture Lip Balm

 Take an appropriate amount using your lip brush and apply gently to your lips.

 So, let’s see the before and after the make-up prep.

Can you spot the difference? After the make-up prep, my skin is glowing and I have more radiant skin. So, now you know how’s important is doing the make-up prep!!!! *Don’t be lazy*

So, after I posted one of the photo of mine after the K-Beauty Workshop with the Supple & Smooth Skin Day Make up, many of my friends gave me compliments that make me so confidence and of course happy. Thanks to Miss Geraldine Loy for sharing the make-up tips. So, now, am going to share it with you.

Let’s have a look what’s the make-up products of Laneige we used that day: Water Supreme Primer Base, Snow BB Soothing Cushion, Water Supreme Finishing Pact, Natural Brow Line-Auto Pencil, Multi-shaping Eyeliner, Multi Professional Shadow, Professional Selection Shadow, Volume Setting Mascara, Professional Selection-Blusher, Delicious Pink Pure Glossy Lipstick and snow crystal pure lipgloss.

So after the make-up preps, we will continue our way to achieve our target: Flawless K-Beauty Look with Water Supreme Primer Base.

*Water Supreme Primer Base*

Functions :

•    Smooth Texture Free Of Pores and Wrinkles  
•   Supreme Moisture
•   Natural Skin Correction

 I love Laneige Water Supreme Primer Base because it comes with 3 different colors: Light Pink, Light Purple and Green.

Different Color gives different functions. Green is for sensitive skin. For me, my skin tone a bit yellowish, so I choose Purple. For those who is fair and want a pinkish skin tone, can choose the light pink.

How to apply: Again, start with the T-area but more focusing on the cheek. Dot at the area and apply it over your face from inside to outside.

Next Step: The AWARD WINNING PRODUCT !!! Everyone lovin it… SNOW BB SOOTHING CUSHION !!!

Remember this magical product that I mentioned earlier in my previous post? Ya !!! It’s the new concept Cushion BB which have 6 functions: Whitening + Sunscreen + Swear-Proof + Soothing + Makeup Effects. This product also acts as an concealer.

*Correct way to hold the puff*

How to Apply :

•        Press Sponge onto the BB Cushion to pick up the product then gently pat it all over your face.
•             Apply 2^nd layer if you have some places to be concealed such as pimples. *Remember, pat gently don’t too harsh*

*Close the lid of BB Cushion tightly after using to prevent product from drying up* 

Next finish your make-up base with Water Supreme Finishing Pact.

I have tried many finishing pact before, but all end up giving me an even more dry skin after applying, so I decided not to use any compact as they are all in powder form. But, until the K-beauty workshop, I change my mind again. Because, this finishing pact has a 3D Hydra Technology that forms a protective layer to retain the suppleness of moisturizing foundation. Besides, it also gives a bright and clear skin.

How to apply :  Same as applying Snow BB Soothing Cushion. *Pat it gently over the face* For smaller areas, such as eyes, nostrils, fold puff in half and gently and carefully press with the remaining amount of powder.

Let’s have a look of a supple and smooth skin after using these 3 items:

So, how is it? Can you see the supple & smooth skin of mine? I feel it !!! So now, let’s go on with the day make up….

First : Eye Brown

We used Laneige Natural Brow Liner. So as what Miss Geraldine Loy taught us, separate your eyebrow into 3 parts.

So, start with part 2 first as we will draw darker during our first move. So, start off with part 2 then slowly move to part 1 and 3. *Be light for part 1*. If you have a thicker eyebrow, even lighter and make use of the eye brow brush, if you have a thinner eyebrow, you will have to draw.

K-Beauty Make Up the main concept is as natural as you can. So, just try to hide everything. Even you make up, but it’s not so obviously but noticeable. People still can see the radiant and glowing skin of yours. So, hide your eyeliner also….

See the red line? Ya… just draw along the red line, just hide as much as you can for the eye liner. During the workshop, we used : Multi Shaping Eyeliner.

Following by the important part, the eye shadow..loving Laneige eye shadow… so natural…

Use color no.4, tap gently on the eyeliner you applied. This is to make your eyeliner last longer. 

Lastly, apply color no.3 to part 1 of your eyes from back to the middle, then use lighter color like no.1 or 2 to part 2 of your eyes from the front till cover part 1 of your eyes.

Then apply your mascara, remember to curl your eye lashes before you apply the mascara. 

Laneige Volume Setting Mascara is so nice to use, it lengthens my eye lashes actually. Cause I don’t like to put on fake eye lashes as that’s too much for me, so I good mascara is a must !

Last step of K-beauty Day supple and smooth make up is the Cheek and Lips.

 *Professional-Selection Blusher and Delicious Pink Pure Glossy Lipstick*

Apply it on your apple cheek and your juicy lips !!!

This lipstick color is so lovely, isn’t it? Don’t you have an urge to own it? 

And now, let’s check the result…

Omg !!! How magic is K-Beauty Make up !!!! Do my make up look supple and smooth ?! Yea.. I know right… I doesn’t look like put on a make up, but actually there is a make up and make may skin look more radiant and glowing. Aww..!!!! Loving K-beauty make up so much….

So..ya…it almost come to an end…but, it’s not the last yet!!! Do you want to know how to transform yourself into a Night Party Look in 5 minutes with K-Beauty Make Up? Haha… it’s very easy… let’s check it out:

Now, again, we have the eye liner and eye shadow. Initially we only used no.3 and no.1/2. So now, we will draw the eyeliner again to make it look more vivid.

Apply Eyeshadow:

1. Use no.4 right now to do the part 1 of eyes,
2. No.3 apply in the middle of part 1 and 2,
3. For part 2, use color No.2.

It’s so easy right?Now, let’s check what the difference:
