[Other Side of Me]

I am an ordinary girl. A student. A daughter. A girlfriend. Remove all the make up, I am just an ordinary 20 year old girl who is passionate in everything I am interested in. Last Saturday, it was my 1st speech after 8 years since after I left my primary school.

Fyi, I am a Toastmasters. I joined Toastmasters just few month ago, believing that will be the platform for me to improve myself. And my last Saturday, it proves that my belief is right !!! I joined Humorous Speech contest that held by District 51 Area G2, and unexpectedly I won the 1st runner up.

It's my 1st trophy after so many years. I was so surprised that I won this as the other contestants are so strong. My boyfie always so confidence in me and he is so positive all the time. He gave me support and encouragement whenever I am nervous and thought of giving up. He told me I will won a trophy back !! And I really made it !!! Once again, I made my family proud. My dad and mum was so happy for me !!! 

Toastmasters is really a very good platform for everyone who seeking for self improvement. I am so happy that I met so many awesome people that day and they really taught me all priceless knowledge that I won't get from my texts books. 

12 October will be the division competition, and I hope for the best and doing my best to improve myself within this month, and be well prepared for my next humorous speech contest !!!
