I guess the hardest thing in the world is to write an introductory part for any essays/articles/blog post. I have totally run out ideas. So, let’s get straight to point! It is my pleasure to attend LANEIGE’s Brighten Up Event @ Tanzini Restaurant, GTower. It is called as a Brightening Lab.

So, why does it call as a Brightening Lab? Because, event of that day is about the “reborn” with LANEIGE’s White Plus Renew Series.

It is a demonstration and presentation for the upgraded Brightening Series. During the event, we were asked to put on a “lab coat” in order to “carryout” the “experiment”.

1)      Melanin (is a broad term for a group of natural pigments found in most organisms. Let’s make it simple, Melanin here is representing a dark skin tone. So, let’s pour it into the two test tubes.

[Inspired by Korean "Mul-Gwang" Look X Laneige Silk Intense Lipstick]

I ain’t a Korean freak that follows all the Korean Drama time to time. But, I were introduced by my friends to one drama that they were watching “That Winter, The Wind Blow.” Since it sounds so nice from my friends, I went through few episode (I know I am late, “better late than never !!” Hahaha!!). I am so in love with Song Hye Kyo's “Mul-Gwang” look in the drama. She looks so watery, natural and innocent.  

“Mul Gwang” look or the watery look is the current makeup trend in Korea. The women apply water-based makeup base to get that watery glowing effect. It doesn’t only make them glow healthily but at the same time it hydrates the skin. “Mul-Gwang” look doesn’t cake the face.

The key to achieve “Mul-Gwang” Look is HYDRATION! Apply thin layer of makeup base that has a smooth and light watery texture. Laneige’s Water Supreme range is the only choice as it gives water-based make up and also help to moistures the skin.

Tips to achieve watery look:

Dos:

Eyeliner : Apply eyeliner to upper eyes and get as close as possible to the eyelashes.

Eyebrow : Eyebrow colours should be one tone lighter than your hair colour.

Lips : For Korean Watery Look, the lip has to be looked natural and a little bit gloss.

Don’ts

Do not apply so much foundation.

Avoid think and smudgy eyeliner.

No dark colour eye shadow

In the drama “That Winter, The Wind Blow”, there is one scene where Song Hye Kyo was brought to the MakeUp Counter and was given makeup. [Tips on Applying Masks - Collagen Masks from Etude House]

Hey dearies, am back in my lovely space now. Sorry for leaving for a couple weeks due to I was busy with my stuff and there's some problems occurred in my blog. But, now everything is fixed. So, today I am going to share with you my tips of applying masks.

Many people would have thought that if you apply masks, it's everything including skin care. So, most of us will apply masks and skip all the important skin care. But, do you know that this is a HUGE mistakes?

Even though applying masks consider as a essential care, but never ever skip skin care. Today, am using  collagen masks from Etude House that my mum bought from Korea. Every time when my mum went to Korea, the most she bought for us is masks, it is like F.O.C there... lol...*joking* but, according to my mum, it's very cheap there. My mum bought tons of Masks from Etude House this time.

Four types of masks that my mum bought : Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin E.

Now, let's me share with you my steps of applying masks so that it can be absorbed by my skin.

These are the skin care I use with masks. Products are all from LANEIGE : Clear C Effector, White Plus Renew Skin Refiner, White Plus Renew Emulsion, and White Plus Renew Original Essence.

Step 1 : After cleansing your face, apply Clear C Effector before refiner.

Am so in love with this because it's pink color !! LOL... yay... pink again. But I bought this not because only it's pink but it can help your skin to absorb better of the skin care product you apply later on.

Step 2 : White Plus Renew Skin Refiner.

Step 3 : White Plus Renew Emulsion

Step 4 : Am using Collagen Essence Mask - Etude House

I love this cause any product that have collagen will make your skim firmer. *Anti Aging* too young for this? Meh.. haha !!! Well, this package goes so well with my new design of my nails.

Note : Apply mask only for 10-15 minutes. Do not more than that as it will give you reverse effects.

Step 5 : White Plus Renew Original Essence

You might wondering why I apply essence for the last step. Ya, every time I take mask as a moisturizer. So, essence will be the last step. 

After these, tap your face gently with finger tips.

Wait wait, how bout the remaining essence on the mask? DON'T WASTE IT !!!

*creepy?!* Haha... just to scare you , cause The Conjuring scared me. Haha !!

Apply the remaining essence on your mask to the skin where you think it's dry.

So now... you are done !!!

FYI : It's my first time using Etude House product. And I personally think that their masks are good and it's moisture enough. I rate them 8.5 out of 10.
